SLAPCON is the brain child of a group of likeminded laparoscopic surgeons of Salem. The idea was conceived and carried out in 2015 by our organizing secretary Dr. N. Saravanan along with the members of the Executive Council. The aim of SLAPCON was to announce to the medical fraternity that world class laparoscopy has arrived at Salem. SLAPCON serves as a platform for sharing knowledge and skill it serves as a tremendous inspiration for the posterity to achieve the best in laparoscopy.

The previous two editions of SLAPCON in 2015 and 2016 were a resounding success Eecouraged by good response and armed with prior experience, SLAPCON 2021 comes to you as a two days workshop, a laparoscopic bonanza of "Sixteen hours of Exclusive Live Telecast" - A first of its kind in Salem
