SLAPCON is the brain child of a group of likeminded laparoscopic surgeons of Salem. The idea was conceived and carried out by the members of Executive Committee, which got into Live action for the 1^st time on 2015 on a trial run with a capacity of 50 member audience for 4 Live Surgeries next to next covering 3 full hours, gave great boost to conduct in a grand manner in the forth coming years. Subsequent 2^nd and 3^rd slapcon’s on 2016, 2017 pave way in conducting Live Workshops in a professional manner.

Paradigm Shift

4^th Slapcon on 2018 is the paradigm shift in the Salem Laparoscopic History, were 2 days Live workshop covering 25+ Live Surgeries involving India’s renowned Surgeons in the Faculty Team pave way a phenomenal success. Nearly 300 Surgeons participated in this Live Workshop conference.

Advance 4K Laparoscopy Live Workshop

On 2022, Post Global Covid Pandamic Lock Downs, pave way in conducting 5^th Slapcon in a great enthusiastic way towards meeting their fellow surgeons. This time it was Advanced 4K Laparoscopy Live for 16 Full hours exclusive Live Telecast for the 1st time in Salem. Nearly 350+ Surgeons participated in this conference.

Now in 2024, Slapcon is again scheduled its activities once again to treat not only Salem Surgeons, the entire State and National level Surgeons from various Institutions will be joining for sure due to the professional presentation in 2018 and 2022.
